Clifford specializes in the National Credit Act and the Consumer Protection Act as well as the Companies Act. He has also been credited as the architect of many of the business models found in the credit provision landscape of South Africa today. His involvement with the National Credit Act covers many aspects including submissions to the parliamentary sub-committee prior to the Act being promulgated and presenting lectures to Attorneys of the Law Society of the Northern Province and Mpumalanga as well as a number of public interviews including talk radio. He brings his wealth of knowledge to the day-to-day operations of his clients to assist them in engineering practical solutions suited to the South African Financial environment.

Clifford has been prominent in the credit risk management arena where over the last 10 years he has been instrumental in creating innovative solutions, both in the legal and economic framework, for many major players in the credit provider industry.

Clifford is also certified to practice as a solicitor in the United Kingdom and Wales and in doing so has been able to offer integrated advice to his clients on expansion and cross-border transactions in both jurisdictions.
